Fun with domain names

So, every self-respecting blog needs a catchy domain name. Brave China-tackling Carly suggested going with litdept.com, and I agreed. Sadly, some prick out there in the interwebs owns that name, and isn't using it for shit. On top of that, that owner of litdept.com is auctioning it off. Minimum bid: $99. Fuck.

Anyway, thelitdept.com wasn't taken, so I grabbed it. Hooray! The Lit Department now has a proper domain name of its own, even if it's heavy one demonstrative adjective.

I admit I wasn't sure how to classify the word the. So, after some intimate time with Google, I found the below page.
